V F Phillips Consulting is an appraisal, archival services and local history research and publications company.
Archival services include
collections management, preservation and conservation. Owner Faye Phillips
has performed appraisals of historical manuscripts and
artifacts for numerous individuals and organizations including: the Historic New Orleans
Collection and the New Orleans Gulf
South Center at Tulane University. Phillips has also served as a
consultant to the special collections and archives departments of the
University of Alaska – Fairbanks, the University of Oklahoma, the Stone Center
for Latin American Studies at Tulane University, and the Coca-Cola Company,
Atlanta. For special projects of
the Society of American Archivists, the Library of Congress and the
Southeastern Library Network she has been a consultant and adviser.
Phillips is the co-author of Baton Rouge, Arcadia Publishing, 2008 and Baton Rouge: An
Illustrated History, Historical Publishing Network, 2006; and author
of The LSU Rural Life Museum and Windrush Gardens: A Living History, The History
Press, 2010; Congressional
